Director of Teaching and Learning


David Norberto Bravo Gonzalez is originally from Chile. He graduated from theUniversity of Tarapaca, Chile, where he obtained his bachelors degree as an English Teacher. Before coming to Stokes, he worked for three years as an ESOL teacher at Kerrydale Elementary School in Virginia, where he was named Teacher of the Year twice. He was also named Teacher of The Year for Dale City Schools. David taught Spanish in North Carolina, ESL at a community college, and English in Chile for 13 years. 


In his spare time, David loves writing, playing guitar, and singing. He does reiki, and enjoys cooking, knitting, reading, and taking walks with his wife.
