Director of Teaching and Learning


Constanza Rosas has worked with Stokes School for 14 years. After completing her studies in education, she also graduated with a certificate in Achitecture from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She worked for 10 years as an Architect in Colombia, South America. 


In 2000, Constanza came to live in the United States and started working with a firm of Architects in Washington, DC. Later she was offered a job at Stokes School as a Spanish teacher, and since then she has been part of a great group of committed teachers who enjoy working with children.


She considers herself to be an organized, hard-working, and self-motivated teacher, who puts great effort into preparing lessons to make sure students are always focused and interested. In 2011, Constanza won the Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award. She is very proud to be a member of a wonderful community, where learning and success are an important part of students daily lives.
