Stokes School is a DC public charter school, and as such we accept
applications from all elementary age students living in the District of Columbia. In order to be old enough to
enroll in kindergarten, a student must turn five by January 1 of their kindergarten year. In accordance with District
of Columbia regulations, when the number of applicants exceeds the number of spaces available, Stokes School holds
a lottery to determine which students are accepted. This lottery is usually held in February of each year. If you

filling out the form on our "More Info" page.
